AlloExpat.com is a portal for expatriates across the social world. It addresses the growing global community to be an expatriate one-stop center for information and linking expatriates with providers of professional expatriate services.

Inside AdSense (IA): What role does play in your AdSense business?

Theresa Giovagnoli (TG): We have a very large portal websites and discussion forums for every country in our global network.We need a solution that addresses effectively the ads to a wide international audience. AdSense is simply the best and most effective way to do it. Thanks to a vapor consisting of revenue from AdSense, our web development team was able to devote his attention to the growth of our global audience and content.

IA: What is the success you had with AdSense publishers who would like to share with others?

TG: A successful tactic we used was recategorizing targeting custom channels. We are a global site with multiple regions.Previously, all our regions have been combined into a single custom channel, but once we have defined channels targeting the region, we have seen increases of 20% CPC. We strongly encourage publishers to set custom channel targeting to the level that best describes their website, because it allows advertisers to specifically target their website by segment or region that can lead to lifting performance.

TG: We were able to implement AdSense on a non-intrusive, generating a fair amount of revenue over the years. AdSense has played a key role in our development over the years and still does today. We'd never gotten this far without it
